Description

The Council required a framework of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers who manufacture/supply and install Lifting Adaptations who are interested in gaining approval onto a framework agreement for supplying and installing these products in Domestic Properties. Please see Appendix 1 - Specification for full details. The Council is looking to appoint 4 suppliers per lot, but reserves the right to appoint less than 4 suppliers per lot should 4 suitable suppliers per lot not be identified.

It is anticipated that the framework will run from 1st October 2024 for an initial 2 years to 30th September 2026, after which the Council reserves the right to extend the contract for a further 2 year period.

The framework will be split into the following 6 lots:
Lot 1 - Step lifts
Lot 2 - Wheelchair Stairlifts, Left or Right travel
Lot 3 - Through-floor lifts (wheelchair, seated and attendant)
Lot 4 - Straight rail stair lifts, left or right travel
Lot 5 - Curved rail Stair lifts, Left or Right Travel
Lot 6 - Outside Stairlifts, Left or Right Travel
Suppliers can tender for any amount of lots.

The best indication of the Annual framework value is based on the most up to date data which is £350,000.00 p.a. based on previous spend. However demand may increase or decrease due to the changing needs of Clients, so it is impossible to give an estimated number of works going forward.
