Description

This is a service for all age unpaid carers contract. An unpaid carer is a person, child or adult who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, disability, a mental health diagnosis or an addiction and would not be able to live a good life without support.
Carers provide a range of support including personal care, emotional support, help with practical tasks such as shopping and reminding to give medication. Most unpaid care is provided by people living in the same household as the person needing support.
This contract will be separated into lots (3)
- Young carer and young adult carer (5-25years old)
- Adult carer (18 years old onwards)
- Online carers services

West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) seeks experienced delivery partners to implement the South Midlands Connect to Work Programme in West Northamptonshire. The Connect to Work programme aims to support 1565 economically inactive residents in West Northamptonshire over the next five years by delivering personalised support, including employability training, confidence building, and workplace adjustment advice, increasing awareness and access to local job opportunities, identifying and addressing barriers to employment for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions, reducing economic inactivity and reliance on other services through sustained employment, promoting diversity and inclusion among local employers and working collaboratively with other South Midlands local authorities. This funding is allocated to the South Midlands Partnership region. WNC is the accountable body for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Northamptonshire, and West Northamptonshire. This tender relates specifically to West Northamptonshire.
