Description

The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of works in respect of planned preventative maintenance for Newark and Sherwood District Council. Newark and Sherwood District Council (the Council) wish to secure the services of facilities contractors for the following property services: emergency call outs, internal and external repairs and renewals, general maintenance, and void works across multiple sites within the district.

The anticipated contract commencement date is 14th November 2024.

The Council proposes to enter into one contract for an initial period of 36 months with the preferred supplier, with an option to extend for 12 months followed by for a further period of 12 months, making 60 months in total. 

Any proposed extension is subject to satisfactory performance by the supplier and in accordance with the Council's business requirements. 

Any proposed extension to the contract will be agreed in writing between the Council and the supplier. 

The budget for this contract is £316,000.00 per annum (exclusive of VAT).

This is only an estimate and the actual spend maybe higher or lower than this figure. The Council is of the opinion that TUPE will not apply.
