Fit out/refurbishment of Unit 1, Tuscan Way, Bispham, Blackpool, FY2 0FJ. 

 

Main project activities include: 

 

New electric roller shutter. 

Decorate unit - paint walls, tile toilet, tile kitchen area including some additional wall mounted cabinets. 

Heating - electric heaters for garage area and toilet. 

Flooring - Flowcrete or equivalent non-slip hard wearing floor finish to garage, vinyl flooring in WC. 

Power - additional power points for charging (upgrading existing containment to galvanised steel), EV point outside the front entrance. 

Ventilation for drying cabinet. 

Water - washdown sinks with hot and cold-water supply. 

External - hatched line marking 'Keep Clear' for emergency service vehicles.

Contract 13 Internal Painting & Decorating including Minor Repairs

North Tyneside Council is seeking tenders to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of both planned and responsive internal painting works in both its housing stock and its non-residential buildings. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Authority intends to have two lots, covering housing and non-housing works. Tenderers can bid for one or both lots. Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework in each lot. The framework will consist of an initial term of two years, with two further options to extend by up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority. Works are expected to commence in April 2025. The project is for the provision of 33 new dwelling units and all associated external works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, landscaping, roads / footpaths / parking, gardens, fencing, rails and other ancillary works. The Parker Avenue site is a vacant plot in a residential neighbourhood, located between 35 Hopefield Avenue and 7 Parker Avenue, Portrush. The 22 Glenmanus Village site is 0.13 HA in area consisting of an existing dwelling and outbuildings (to be demolished) located at the end of a residential cul-de-sac at 22 Glenmanus Village, Portrush.
