Description

For the 2024/2025 planting season Norfolk County Council (NCC) will be offering subsidised tree packs to individuals, homeowners, schools, community groups, private landowners, and tenant farmers. We will be offering 4 bundles of different species. Interested parties will apply through an application form. NCC will assess the details and suitability of the site for planting before confirming successful applicants. 
      We are seeking a supplier to provide the following:
      
      Tree protection: 
      - 60cm spirals and canes which are 100% biodegradable
      
      Please note we do not want any products manufactured from cardboard
      
      Assembly: 
      We would also like assembly of the canes and guards / spirals into bundles (groups of either 10, 20 or 125 as specified by Norfolk County Council). If you are unable to bundle, we will consider bulk delivery
      
      Delivery must be to Norfolk County Council (exact location to be confirmed but this will be within 15 miles of Norwich) on 3 separate dates - in November 2024, January 2025, and February 2024.

MFF163 01a Lot 1 up to 1,200,000 Plug Plants in Years 1 and 2 6.2. MFF 163 01b Lot 2 up to 100,000 Plug Plants in Years 1 and 2. Plug plant specification The following species are required: a. Common cotton grass (Eriophorum angustifolium) b. Hares-tail cotton grass (Eriophorum vaginatum) c. Crowberry (Empetrum nigrum) c. Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) e. Cloudberry (Rubus chamaemorus) f.
