Description

*This is for information only, as the contract has been awarded* Structural Engineering services to include: 
•	Survey of structures where there is suspected structural damage from movement, damage to structures from impact or fire
•	To provide advice regarding cost effective repairs
•	To schedule out repairs, including cost estimates and drawings where appropriate 
•	To support us in liaising with insurers and loss adjustors so appropriate information is provided
•	To support us in liaising with third parties 
•	To liaise with our partnering contractor where appropriate to ensure that repairs are appropriately carried out and signed off on completion that they are in accordance with the specification, including attending site meetings as required.
•	To monitor properties for structural movement where appropriate and recommend necessary investigations to identify the likely cause of the movement.
•	Provide feedback on the scoping of our requirements for a future tender exercise.

West Midlands Pension Fund (the Authority) is one of the UK’s largest pension funds, originally formed by West Midlands County Council and now working in partnership with seven metropolitan district councils and over 800 employers providing public services across the West Midlands region.
