Description

Coventry City Council's current Provision of Short Breaks for Disabled Children & Young People is due to expiry in March 2025. Coventry City Council is out to tender for its new framework, which will include the provision of targeted short breaks, specialist targeted short breaks and home support for children & young people with a disability. The framework is broken down into three Lots and Tenderers are invited to bid for one or more of the Lots.

The estimated start date for the new framework is 1st April 2025. The initial term of the framework will be for the period of 5 years from commencement but may be extended, by mutual agreement by 2 increments of 12 months.

Provision of Intermediate Care and Reablement Services

Medway Council are reprocuring an Intermediate Care and Reablement Service. The Authority invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers (“Suppliers”) for the delivery of an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Service on the Isle of Wight. The Authority and its partners are committed to providing a universal, high quality, consistent and integrated Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) service that supports the Islands Poverty Reduction Strategy 2024-2029 aims and objectives. This service will play an important role in promoting wellbeing, improving wellbeing and protecting wellbeing, aligned to the poverty reduction strategy in providing coordinated and community approaches to tackle this. Good information (which is current, relevant and accurate) is essential for all adults and their relatives who need or may need support to protect their wellbeing and to live independently. Good information should help people to make informed choices, enable them to take control and help individuals, families, and carers to maintain their abilities, skills, independence and community resilience well into the future. This service is designed to be outcome focused, to encourage suppliers to develop flexible and innovative approaches to delivery of the IAG service to the local community across the Isle of Wight. The contract period is from 1st March 2026 until 28th February 2029 with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months at the sole discretion of the Authority.

CSC25164 Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) Open Framework

Torbay Council has been successful in obtaining grant funding by the Department for Education (DfE) to roll out a Holiday Activities and Food Programme for 2026. The purpose of the funding is to ensure that children and young people have access to food and activities over the school holiday periods where they are eligible for Free School Meals. Local Authorities require face-to-face provision over the school holidays. The number of children / young people eligible for the provision is estimated to be around 5,451. As a minimum, it’s expected that roughly 20-25% of those eligible will take up the offer per School Holiday. Torbay Council are procuring an open framework of providers for this requirement. The time period of the framework and the reopening arrangements are subject to confirmed funding from the DfE.
