NHS Supply Chain: Food seeked to establish a Non-exclusive Framework Agreement for the supply of Vending Solutions to Trusts within the NHS (the "Customer(s)"). via the Direct Route covering products from the following categories: 

Cold Drinks, Snacks and Confectionery Vending Machines, Chilled Food Vending Machines, Hot Food Vending Machines, Hot Beverage Machines, Coffee Shop Solutions, Ward Beverage Trolleys, Water Dispensers, Reverse Vending, Smart Technology & Shop Solutions, Maintenance and Service. 

The awarded suppliers will be responsible for the supply (as a result of re-opening of competition or direct award) who will deliver and manage Vending Solutions into the NHS and its Trusts for their catering needs. 

It is anticipated that in the first 18 months the value of the Framework Agreement will be in the region of £9,750,000. This is based on the Trusts currently using the NHS Supply Chain: Food's framework. 

For the full 48 month term (if extended) the anticipated value of the Framework Agreement will be in the region of £26,000,000.

TENDER EVALUATION AND AWARD CRITERIA 2.1 Each Tender will be checked initially for compliance with all requirements of the ITT. 2.2 Tenders will be evaluated against the award criteria set out below. Scoring criteria 0 - Major non-compliance with requirements. Evidence is unacceptable or non-existent. There is a failure to properly address issues or meet any of the requirements or no Information provided. 1 - Does not meet requirements. Major deficiencies or concerns in certain areas or where the lack of detail and relevance requires the reviewer to make assumptions. 2 - Meets requirements. Minor deficiencies or concerns in information provided but may be adaptable. 3 - Meets requirements. Adequate relevant detail provides a comprehensive response demonstrating fully how requirements will be met. 4 - Exceeds requirements. A comprehensive response which meets all requirements and offers some added value. Fresh Food DPS Contract Award Notices December 2024 - February 2025

Due to a technical issue the dates above do not represent the actual DPS Contract Dates. 2022/S 000-020877 NHS Supply Chain: Food seeks to establish a non-exclusive DPS Agreement for the supply of Fresh Food to NHS Supply Chain: Food's customer base via the Direct Route covering products including but not limited to: fruit, vegetables, prepared potatoes, salads, milk, dairy products, eggs, bread, morning goods, fresh meat, fresh poultry, fresh fish and meat alternatives. The DPS will be in place for a minimum of 7 years with an approximate spend of £200m and will be the main procurement route for NHS Trusts Fresh Food requirements. The DPS is open for applications until 28th February 2029 as a minimum. The DPS is divided into 4 categories of products and Applicants may apply to be included on any or all of the product categories. The 4 categories under the DPS are as follows: Category 1 - Dairy & Bakery Category 2 - Fresh Meat, Poultry & Fish Category 3 - Fruit, Vegetables & Salads Category 4 - Meat Alternatives Applicants will only be accepted to categories they have applied for if they pass all mandatory criteria within the DPS award process. Retail Sandwiches, Salads, Sandwich Fillings, Cakes, Street Food, Snack pots, pies, pastries, pizza, frozen desserts & ice cream, chilled & frozen drinks, grab & go food, branded equipment linked to food brands included in DPS. The DPS will be in place for a minimum of 7 years with an approximate spend of £78,831,476m and will be the main procurement route for NHS Trusts Food To Go requirements. The DPS is open for applications until 20 September 2030 as a minimum.
