Description

The purpose of this contract is to ensure that single people in County Durham who are rough sleeping have an option of immediate access accommodation, along with a tailored and holistic approach to meeting the support needs of the individual.

The contract will provide a total of 5 (five) 'somewhere safe to stay' (ssts) bed spaces. Somewhere safe to stay provides short term accommodation (up to 7 days) with assessments and support for rough sleepers who are not owed statutory homeless duties or found in priority need. Providers will need to support service users in sourcing move on accommodation in liaison with Durham County Council's Rough Sleeper Team. Somewhere safe to stay is provided under Rough Sleeper Initiative Fund (RSI).

Vision Impairment Invitation to Tender Provider Engagement event We will be hosting a Provider engagement event on the 5th of December at 12noon via MS Teams. We anticipate that this will be an hour event. SCOPE/DETAILS OF SERVICE Lot 1: To deliver Vision Impairment Rehabilitation for Adults, to lead an independent life, who have a Certificate of Visual impairment (CVI) and maintain a Vision Impairment register. Lot 2: To deliver children and young people with vision impairment, Habiliation support, which involves training them to develop their personal mobility, navigation and independent living skills.
