Description

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) commissions the Welfare and Falls Rapid Response Service for those residing in the Pembrokeshire area.
This service will respond to incidents to assess and assist people including the provision of a limited clinical response where people have urgent needs, and, following assessment, summon an appropriate medical response if needed and is focused on reducing demand on Emergency Medical Services to release these resources for a more appropriate acuity of call.

Provision of Occupational Health Services

The Trust requires two Occupational Health Physician(s), with at least one physician provided being a Consultant Occupational Health Physician who is a Member of the Faculty of Occupational Health Medicine (MFOHM). Other services such as a specialist nurse, screening nurse, physiotherapy and counselling are provided in house. As the service is nurse led the required Occupational Health Physician(s) acts as clinical lead. Whilst the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing is accountable for operational and service management, the Occupational Health Physician(s) will support service development, clinical leadership, clinical governance activity, including clinical audit, clinical guideline, approve written instructions for vaccinations and protocol development and clinical risk management. The Occupational Health Physician(s) will be expected to work closely with Human Resources (HR) Business Partners, individual managers, and colleagues, such as Infection Control as required.
