Description

The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire on behalf of Warwickshire Police has awarded a contract for veterinary and associated services for operational police dogs.
This was a direct award via exemption to continue vital service with a RCVS accredited practice. 
The contract is for an initial term of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 period of 12 months each.

PROVISION OF EQUINE DENTISTRY FOR MILITARY WORKING HORSES

The provision of equine dentistry services to users, for up to 400 MWHs, in close collaboration with the Veterinary Departments to: (a) Examine MWHs’ oral cavities, dentition, and associated structures on an annual basis, or more frequently according to each patient’s individual needs. (b) Balance dental arcades and reduce sharp points on an annual basis, or more frequently according to each patient’s individual needs.
