Birmingham City Council (the "Council") is seeking to appoint an organisation for the provision of City Centre Infrastructure & Highway Works (Active Travel Connections to Interchange). This will provide safer and attractive connections to and from New Street Train Station to business and retail areas within the city. • To provide a safer pedestrianised streetscape within the city centre, while also improving the overall air quality by restricting vehicles within the area of New Street. The contract will commence July 2025 and will be in place for a period of approximately 48 months (unless terminated under agreement provisions).
