Description

Worcestershire County Council has secured funding under the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG2) to deliver energy efficiency upgrades to the worst performing EPC rated properties (EPC rating D, E, F or G) and privately owned domestic properties  networks in Bromsgrove District Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Redditch Borough Council and Wychavon District Council.
  
It is expected this project will result in improvements to approximately 275 to 368 private households over a 2 year period.

The Council have appointed the roles of the Retrofit Advisor, Assessor, Coordinator and Evaluator, as defined by PAS2035:2019 or PAS 2035:2023 (which ever is relevant) for the duration of the project.

The procurement was completed via Nottingham City Council's DPS 6358 agreement on behalf of Midlands Net Zero Hub

As a result of this procurement process it is anticipated that 3 asbestos consultants/analysts will be appointed to deliver asbestos analysis services across Nottinghamshire and other properties owned by Arc's clients in Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire under a framework agreement with the Arc Partnership. The framework will utilise a Mini-competition framework procedure where the three providers will provide quotes on a project by project basis to supply Asbestos Analyst Consultancy. The framework also allows for Direct Award when necessary. The framework duration will be for 2 years with two optional extension years (2 + 1 + 1). The NEC4 Framework Contract will be used to manage the Client and Supplier relationship. The Contract will cover all elements of the Client's business. The contract will consists of one Lot.

Delivering Decarbonisation on TfL's Operational Building Estate

This PIN is issued by Transport for London (TfL), with an accompanying Market Sounding Questionnaire (MSQ) that can be found by following the instructions in section II.2.14. The exercise seeks to obtain market feedback in relation to the design and implementation of decarbonisation measures at TfL operational buildings through TfL's Building Decarbonisation programme. The objective of TfL's Building Decarbonisation programme is to replace fossil fuel heating assets with low carbon alternatives and deliver measures to improve the energy efficiency of buildings across TfL's operational estate. Findings from feedback received will inform activities underway to define the pipeline, packaging, and timescales for delivery, in seeking to reduce the carbon footprint of TfL operational buildings to a point as low as reasonably practicable. TfL is keen to discuss this topic in further detail and may subsequently conduct engagement sessions (which may take the form of 1-2-1s or workshops) with a selection of respondents. The deadline to submit your response to this PIN through the MSQ is by 17:00 BST Friday 27 September 2024.
