Description

To contribute to the Government's commitment of a minimum of six high-powered electric vehicle charge-points (HPEVCPs) at all 114 MSAs in England by 2023 by enabling rollout at locations where DNO or National Grid capacity is insufficient or cannot be upgraded quickly enough or is not economically viable, to support delivering the commitment.
To provide support to the Client during delivery of the Main Contract via their appointed Contractor, by delivering an Engineering and Construction Contract Supervisor service, and any ad-hoc services required to support the delivery of this highly innovative project.
For the purposes of these Services a HPEVCP is as an Electric Vehicle (EV) charger capable of providing at least 150kW of charge through one lead. The charger implementation may be of six individual chargers or three double lead chargers, with up to six parking bays in total that can be serviced at any one time.

The Client is seeking to engage with quality providers to deliver a service that will provide industry specific diagnostics and specialised support to organisations in Wales. The successful bidder will be awarded an initial 12-month contract with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years on a plus 12-months plus 12 months basis. A maximum budget of up to GBP 277,500 per annum (excluding VAT) has been allocated to deliver the contract. Please be aware this is a demand led service, therefore there is no guaranteed level of expenditure. The maximum value is based on historical need for the contract and the maximum funding we have available.
