Description
The University requires auditors to provide an experienced audit team to conduct financial reviews and certification of its research grant claims submitted to external funders (primarily EU Framework Programmes and Innovate UK grants). The average number of these audits required per annum is approximately 40-50 in total for all funders, but will vary between financial years. It is not expected for the number of audits to exceed 60 in a financial year. Whilst there has been a consistent volume of funding it recent years, there is every chance that this could increase or decrease. As such we require a Grant Auditor that can provide flexibility to ensure consistent levels of service.
