Description

Torbay Council is seeking to purchase the following at Block D, Paignton Academy Borough Road, Paignton, Devon TQ4 7DH:-

The Refurbishment of the existing Library to form a new Steps Provision. Approximate floor area 210 m2.

The demolition of 2 No. existing mobiles and the Construction of a new single storey building to form a new SEND Provision. Approximate floor area 155 m2 (excluding covered access/verendah - approx. 50 m2).

Phase 1 - Steps Refurbishment
Commencement - Monday 10th June 2024
Completion - Friday 30th August 2024

Phase 2 - SEND New Build including demolition of existing mobiles
Commencement - Monday 22nd July 2024
Completion - Friday 18th April 2025.

The procedure type was from the Standing List of Approved Contractors (SLoAC) which is run and maintained by Devon County Council.

Divis - A View to the Future Project has been made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are improving access, enhancing engagement and ensuring the long-term protection of this unique landscape.
