Description

The Association of North East Councils trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) has established a framework agreement for the supply of rock salt in bulk and bagged forms required to enable contracting authorities to meet their winter maintenance services responsibilities.  The products will be delivered to a notified list of delivery sites for North East located contracting authorities and designated sub-regions across the UK for all other contracting authorities.

WGCD Rock Salt and Associated Products Framework

The purpose of this notice is to notify the market of the contract opportunity for the supply and distribution of rock salt and associated deicing products which is being conducted by the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery Division (WGCD). The WGCD acts on behalf of the public sector in Wales to deliver value for money from the procurement of common and repetitive good and services for Wales. The WGCD on behalf of the Welsh public sector wishes to establish a collaborative framework agreement for rock salt and associated deicing products. The framework will replace the current WGCD Rock Salt and Associated Products Framework (NPS-CFM-106-20) when it expires in 2025. The new framework will be made available for use by all WGCD customers. The WGCD is striving to develop a vibrant Welsh economy capable of delivering strong and sustainable economic growth by providing opportunities for everyone in Wales. Cyngor Gwynedd wishes to arrange a framework agreement for the supply of Rock Salt and related products to be used during the winter maintenance period. Lyndon Distribution Centre (LDC) Stores is a stores and logistics function managed by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) serving primary, secondary and academy schools in the Borough of Solihull, as well as, several council departments, with a variety of products to include but not limited to disposable, cleaning, janitorial products, clothing, and PPE, electrical and first aid products.
