Description

Northamptonshire Children's Trust (NCT) wishes to invite quotations for a Partner to deliver 2 x Children's Homes for 2 children in Northampton (with potential to increase to 3 children) Expression of Interest under the NCT Provision of Homes for Children and Young People in our Care Independent Fostering arrangements and Children's Homes Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of homes for children under a block contract arrangement, as outlined in this Expression of Interest document. 

Please note Providers already accepted under the Lot 2 Children's Home, of the Northamptonshire Children's Trust for the Provision of Homes for Children and Young People in our Care Independent Fostering arrangements and Children's Homes Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) are invited to quote for this block contract arrangement.

Providers not on the above DPS are also invited to quote for this Expression of Interest opportunity, but must apply to join the DPS. The DPS - NCT for the Provision of Homes for Children and Young People in our Care Independent Fostering arrangements and Children's Homes Dynamic Purchasing System (Reference NNC00000402) is being reopened at the same time as this EOI to allow for this.

The potential contact value is £4.5 million. 
The annual placements budget which this contract is part of is approximately £53 million per annum and the average weekly cost of the current framework providers for the complex needs category is £8,218 (which these homes fall under.

Note this is total costs including all costs associated with running the home).

Harrogate Court Extra Care Scheme

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver care and support to tenants of Harrogate Court along with housing related and general wellbeing support and a community hub, providing a high quality service at all times. Care and support packages will be delivered in line with assessed need. It will be a 24/7 service including first response. The contract will be for a period of five years with the option to extend for a further five 12 month periods. Harrogate Court is a 50-bed apartment extra care scheme, for People aged 55 and over. Until the service and manager are both registered with CQC, the successful provider must ensure that the service is overseen by a registered manager or CQC nominated individual, to provide consistent support to the manager. The nominated individual or registered manager designated must currently be responsible for a care service which is currently rated as ‘Good ‘or above with CQC.
