This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice. This notice is to indicate that The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority formed on the 7th May 2024 acting on behalf of itself and the Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police proposes to contract with North Yorkshire Council by virtue of fully owned teckal company called Nynet Limited (company number 06069791) for the provision of their Wide Area Network
Since the formation in 2019 of enableNY (North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service) many areas of the Estates are shared by both organisations, the vision is to have a collaborative arrangement which will deliver opportunities to reduce costs for multi occupancy buildings. Nynet provide broadband to businesses, communities and the public throughout North Yorkshire, all surpluses are re-invested to provide reliable networks across North Yorkshire.

Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy are looking to appoint a framework contract to a partner(s) for the provision of our AMP8 Smart Metering Solution. Our AMP8 programme will assist in achieving our strategic goals in terms of reducing Per Capita Consumption and Supply Side Leakage. This will be for our Household and Non Household customers. The above two requirements will be contracted as one contract on a lead bidder basis. Under a separate contract, installation, exchange and maintenance services are required for new and existing meter customers. There will also be the option to bid for all requirements as a managed service.
