Description

Futura Learning Partnership are requesting tenders from recognised service provider to manage their cleaning services to the indicated contract. Futura Learning Partnership are based within the Clevedon, Bristol/Bath and Bridgwater areas. Due to the relative split of these areas the Contracting Authority have reviewed their options for the tender services and have indicated the following in relation to the potential award of this contracts. Lot 1 - All sites in the contract, Lot 2 - Clevedon Area, Lot 3 - Bristol, Keynsham and Bath Area and Lot 4 - Bridgwater Area. Providers must be able to demonstrate their capability to deliver the services via the documentation to be submitted, this service requirement will include the daily, weekly, monthly service requirements as well as managing TUPE process for the current staff.

Public Toilet Cleaning

The public toilets are facilities seen by the Council as providing an essential public service to residents of the county and its visitors. The Services entails cleaning of 25 public conveniences, the waiting room at the Park & Ride (including window cleaning, located within High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Amersham and the surrounding areas) and the cleaning of 3 sets of stairs and lift at Amersham Multi-Storey Car Park. The contract will be for an initial term of 3 years, commencing on 1st of April 2026 and ending on 31st March 2029. The contract may be extended by one further 2-year period, and then another further 1-year period, making a potential total contract length of 6 years. The total contract spend for the full 6 years is estimated at £2,275,636. This is only an estimate, and the actual spend maybe higher or lower than this figure. The Council is of the opinion that TUPE will apply. The TUPE actuary report is currently not available but will be sent as soon as it is available to the bidders that have returned the confidentiality agreement.
