WMCA is seeking to secure a good quality, rounded educational offer with a focus on residents with no or low-level qualifications and in employment, to progress them to Level 2 provision that is aligned with our sector plans and labour market need. 

This Contract Award Notice notifies of the award of contracts to 3 training providers following the DPS12 - Foundation Skills Programme call-off competition under the WMCA Adult Skills DPS.
Contracts are awarded with an initial end date of 31/07/2025, with 4 x 12-month options to extend to a final expiry date of 31/07/2029.

Adult Skills and Learning (DPS)

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a Pan Government Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to support the provision of Adult Learning and Skills requirements that can be utilised by Mayoral Combined Authorities, Devolved Administrations, Local Authorities, Education Establishments and Central Government Departments. The new agreement will offer a range of pre-qualified regional and national providers to support UK public sector bodies in running procurements for Adult Learning and Skills provisions. CCS will be creating a supply market that enables the procurement of education and training for those aged 19 years and above to help them develop the skills they require to progress into, or within, work; or to equip them for an apprenticeship and/or other tertiary qualifications. The new agreement will provide a route to market for all available 19+ funding streams (including Adult Education Budget (AEB)) that are used by Mayoral Combined Authorities, Devolved Administrations, Local Authorities, Education Establishments and Central Government Departments.

Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of Specialist Professional Services

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers to be appointed under a Dynamic purchasing system ("DPS") for the provision of specialist professional services. The DPS is divided into 20 lots as detailed further in the procurement documents and will be accessible for use by UK Public Sector Bodies (and any future successor organisations) which includes Central Government Departments and their Arm’s Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities. There will be no limit on the number of Suppliers that may join the DPS for each lot.
