Description

A Fire Engineer is needed to provide a Client-Side design consultant services for the BWF New Homes which is to be delivered through a 2 stage design (SQ) and build route. 
This is essential to make sure that all fire work is specified, designed and executed. 

BWF new homes is a phased development including demolition of a LPS tower (Northolt). Construction of the new homes will  be concurrent with refurbishment works to the existing estate and coordination of all building operations is critical to successful delivery.

Fire related design and installation is a critical health and safety requirement. In light of the Building Safety Bill implementation LBH requires assurance that BWF new homes meet all statutory requirements. There are a number of specialist advisors appointed by the contractor Willmott Dixon and statutory consultees: LFB, HSE, Fire Officers, Building Control and a client advisor is needed to represent LBH interests and to provide technical advice.

UKRI-4453 BAU Professional Services Framework

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in a construction and estate maintenance related professional services framework to support various building and civil engineering projects as part of the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The STFC intends to engage with potential providers through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the STFC to initiate, run or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the services described. The STFC is a world-leading research and innovation organisation, with a unique role within UKRI. UKRI is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The STFC is responsible for hosting and operating many of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary research facilities which are essential to delivering UKRI's collective ambitions. prj_5919 - Thames to Southern Transfer Strategic Resource Option

Southern Water needs to obtain approval to construct a ~85km pipeline plus associated treatment works and other infrastructure, to transfer drinking water from the Thames Water area to Southern Water's network in Hampshire. We are seeking an external partner with multidisciplinary expertise developing and delivering designs for large complex infrastructure schemes including successfully navigating the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, planned for 2030. We anticipate our Technical Partner will be contracted via a single supplier framework, which will provide support to SWS throughout the design phase and examination process. The successful bidder will be required to co-ordinate all works instructed under this proposed framework. The successful bidder will complete the DCO application, including all surveys, environmental studies, "tender ready" outline design and then manage the DCO process to determination. The successful bidder will be Principal Designer for the scheme and Principal Contractor for works which fall under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 ("CDM") during the design phase.
