Description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership’s (NWSSP) current Framework Agreement AW31998 for Womens Health Obs & Gynae Consumables expires on 28th February 2022. We have received approval to commence a tender to renew the Framework Agreement for which a Contract Notice is due to be published during March 2022. In the interim NWSSP intends to maintain supply with the current providers until the tender process is concluded.  The anticipated award date of the new Framework Agreement is 1st August 2022. Therefore, this VEAT notice will be to cover the period 1st March 2022 to 31st July 2022

PSR Competitive Procedure for the Provision of Insourced Gynaecology OP Services for Humber Health Partnership (HHP) on behalf of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust<br/>CPV: 85121210-8 Gynaecology Services<br/>Contract for the period 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026 with option to extend for a further 3 months.<br/>Estimated contract value £1,000,000 for the initial 12 month term (£1,250,000 inc. 3mth extension option).<br/><br/>HHP plan to work in partnership with an Independent Sector (IS) Provider to facilitate provision of additional insourced Gynaecology outpatient services for a backlog clearance programme.<br/>The IS provider will provide appropriately qualified and experienced Consultant Gynaecologists along with appropriate Healthcare Assistants (HCA) and registered nurses to support additional Gynaecology outpatient activity. This will focus on General Gynaecology, Uro Gynaecology, including Uro Dynamics, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy and Minor Procedures for patients aged 16 and over.<br/><br/>The IS provider will provide face-to-face clinics at HHP sites. Each clinic will be a 4-hour session and the all-day session will be 8 hours. Start and finish times will be agreed with the IS provider as part of the mobilisation meetings prior to the commencement of the work. The IS provider will source and provide the Gynaecology Consultants, Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants with the relevant experience to support colposcopy and other outpatient procedural activity and recovery function (e.g. colposcopy and hysteroscopy experience). The sessions will be arranged over the weekends.<br/><br/>The IS provider will be required to provide a list of staff and CVs prior to the start of the contract for NLaG to approve. The IS provider will ensure that any staff they provide, are suitably qualified and registered, currently hold a substantive NHS post, a CCT and GMC specialist registration and will be vetted by the IS providers speciality clinical lead.<br/><br/>Minimum booking number by clinic:<br/>The HHP Admin Teams will book the patients. The minimum booking rules will be: -<br/>• Urogynaecology: 16 patients per day<br/>• General Gynaecology: 22 patients per day<br/>• Hysteroscopy: 12 patients per day<br/>• Minor Ops: 14 patients per day<br/>• Uro-dynamics: 6 patients per day<br/>• Colposcopy: 14 patients per day<br/><br/>Further details of minimum staffing requirements per clinic and activity levels are detailed in the full service specifications available via the Atamis e-procurement portal.
