Description

Cardiff Council on behalf of Cardiff Capital Region has received an allocation of UK Shared Prosperity Funding, matched with wider CCR funds to deliver the SPF’s Supporting Local Business priority within the region.
CCR with Cardiff Council as the accountable body will deliver a Cluster Development & Growth Programme. The Cluster Development and Growth Programme (CDGP) aims to support CCR’s priority clusters of Fintech, MedTech, Creative Industries, Cybersecurity and Compound Semiconductor, alongside supporting wider Advanced Manufacturing and Net Zero capability. This includes academic, education and business partnerships, accelerators, and higher-level skills programmes to spur economic growth and
prosperity across the region.
There are four Lots within the programme:
Lot 1 Digital Skills
Lot 2 Net Zero and Advanced Manufacturing Skills
Lot 3 Academic Industry Partnership
Lot 4 Business Growth Programme
Cardiff Capital Region wish to procure a managing agent for each lot to plan, design and deliver the Lot.

Allied Health Professions Enhanced Practice pilot delivery model

For 2024/25 NHSE WT&E intends to facilitate successful ECP apprenticeship programme delivery by pump priming AHP profession specific courses with £10k pp funding to support the development of apprentice funded training into the future, where funding can be used to support the development of innovative and sustainable delivery of these new programmes across England in their first year, to support:<br/><br/>Educator capacity<br/>Educational requirements in practice<br/>Supervisory arrangements<br/><br/>This funding will be offered to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to support the above development and will be additional and independent to the apprenticeship levy. We expect employers will draw down on the levy to access course fees.<br/><br/>One stage open procedure; Light Touch Regime<br/><br/>There will be a total of 10 lots by profession with 30 places per lot.<br/><br/>Lot 1: Occupational therapists<br/>Lot 2: Operating department practitioners<br/>Lot 3: Osteopaths<br/>Lot 4: Paramedics<br/>Lot 5: Physiotherapists<br/>Lot 6: Podiatrists<br/>Lot 7: Prosthetists and orthotists<br/>Lot 8: Diagnostic radiographers<br/>Lot 9: Therapeutic radiographers<br/>Lot 10: Dietitians<br/><br/>Tenderers may bid for one or more lots and there will be a maximum of 2 providers awarded per lot.<br/><br/>The highest scoring provider per lot will receive their requested number of places.<br/><br/>The second highest scoring provider will be offered the remaining places.<br/><br/>If a supplier is awarded more than one lot the authority may award a contract combining all awarded lots<br/><br/>The Awarded Contracts shall be payable based on a price per learner of £10,000.00 (EXCLUSIVE of VAT).<br/><br/>The contract period will be for (18) months, with no option to extend.<br/><br/>The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 21/10/2024 by 12:00hrs (midday).<br/><br/>Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
