Description

We require a contractor to undertake completion of the existing development made up of 2Nr houses and 18Nr apartments (3 blocks of 6 apartments) to include associated communal areas, and external works consisting of incidental fencing and gate installation works, parking space identification, street lighting, bin and cycle store provision and reinstatement/completion of landscaping. 

The Works include the requirement to appoint a specialist roofing contractor to undertake the roof replacement works insofar as they are an approved installer of the specified Tata standing seam cladding.

Contract 13 Internal Painting & Decorating including Minor Repairs

North Tyneside Council is seeking tenders to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of both planned and responsive internal painting works in both its housing stock and its non-residential buildings. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Authority intends to have two lots, covering housing and non-housing works. Tenderers can bid for one or both lots. Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework in each lot. The project is for the provision of 33 new dwelling units and all associated external works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, landscaping, roads / footpaths / parking, gardens, fencing, rails and other ancillary works.
