Essex County County are Procuring on behalf of Tendring District Council.\r
Tendring's objectives for the development of designated sites include transforming them into a new residential-led scheme, delivering high-quality, mixed-tenure homes with a focus on tenure-blind inclusivity. Additionally, the plan aims to establish a community facility and flexible commercial spaces supporting local economic growth. The development will prioritize a rational site layout, enhancing public realms, and integrating seamlessly into surrounding communities. Environmental considerations involve improving natural landscapes, biodiversity, and implementing sustainable urban drainage systems. The project aims to generate local employment and training opportunities, adhere to Housing Design Standards, ensure good daylight levels, minimize long-term maintenance costs, and promote low-carbon living. The overarching goal is to create a sustainable design that contributes to Tendring's low-carbon aspirations.
