Description

To provide a menu publishing solution which can be rolled out across multiple higher education institutions to allow them to display their menus digitally via individual domains under Lot 11 Technology of the TUCO CICS DPS agreement.

The menu publishing solution platform must integrate with TUCO Online By utilising the Menu Manager API, it must be capable of receiving recipe / dish data direct from TUCO Online so that menu data can be published across:

1.	Menus to Web : Fully branded menu web pages which are also optimised for mobile viewing.
2.	Allergen Matrix : Automatic publishing from up-to-date menu items.

Each license (i.e. member institution) will be linked via a separate API connection and the platform must meet the following criteria:

• Ability to have multiple venues per member institution.
• Be able to view each institution's venues under one menu, or access to each venue's menu via a unique URL.
• Menus should have the ability to display each dish name, product description, ingredients, nutrition information, course, calories, allergens, dietary options, price and photo.
• Ability for users to filter by allergens / sub allergens, dietary preference, dish name or dish ID (each dish will have a unique #ID).
• Each licence user can: Turn on/off each menu. Amend colours / logos. Turn on/off the pricing on each menu
• Website should be responsive (accessible via mobile, desktop and tablet)
• Ability to link with EPOS for dynamic menu updates
• Must meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines (AA minimum)

The development and onboarding capabilities and track record of suppliers will be a major differentiator in this process.

Provision of Agent Portal Solution

De Montfort University (DMU) recruits thousands of students from across the world to study at its main campus in Leicester as well as campuses overseas. Currently, a high percentage of these students are recruited in collaboration with international agents who support students through the process and receive a commission should the student go on to enrol at DMU. DMU does not, as yet, have an efficient system to receive and process applications submitted via agents and is currently heavily reliant on manual excel and document uploads to SAP which, when applications are in their thousands, is a time-consuming and inefficient model. DMU therefore now require an 'off-the-shelf' Agent Portal Solution, already in operation at UK HE and/or overseas institutions and must come with the potential for integration with SAP, to facilitate this future area of development for the University. Additional information: All details relating to this procurement opportunity can be found within the Invitation to Tender documentation for the Provision of Agent Portal Solution, DMU Contract Reference 2153/24, uploaded to the InTend e-tendering portal at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home. This represents an Open Tender process and the closing date for receipt of Tender responses is Friday 3rd January 2025.
