•	South Tyneside Homes & South Tyneside Council require suppliers to provide a Skip & Recycling Framework for the repairs, maintenance & Construction service this will be awarded on the basis of Most Economically Advantageous Tender evaluated in accordance with the criteria as set out in this ITT.

•	The Framework will consist of three to four contractors ranked in relation to most competitive price. The top ranked contractor may be engaged for the majority of the work & lower ranked contractors engaged to fill capacity issues, dependent on the number and quality of bids received.

•	The Framework will be used for repairs, maintenance, construction and suchlike for both South Tyneside Homes & South Tyneside Council 

•	The tender forecast is indicative only & STH & STC give no guarantee that all or any of this work will be offered

Throughout the framework period the service provider shall make all reasonable endeavours to reduce any negative impact on the environment caused by the service. Supplier to provide a portal with a dashboard providing details of the journey of the waste, where it has gone, percentage recycled and diverted from landfill, as well as a carbon emission report that is updated on a monthly basis.
