Description

Places for People are seeking to appoint suppliers for the provision and delivery of Places for People’s national Facilities Management programme. This contract covers Places for People’s commercial properties as well as our regular workplaces, which are a mix of different types of commercial buildings that are used to support our operational activities. There are 20 workplaces properties (referred to as offices) and 17 commercial properties (referred to as depots) that will need to be services as part of this contract. These properties are spread throughout England and Scotland, including London, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh.

Provision of the servicing and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation equipment throughout the City of Southend-on-Sea

Southend on Sea City Council is seeking to engage an experienced and qualified supplier to fulfil low value installations, servicing, maintenance and responsive repairs to air conditioning and ventilation equipment within Public Buildings (excluding Housing Stock) and delegated properties (i.e. Schools and Community Buildings). The contract will a 24-hour response to call outs with a 1-hour response time in respect to some buildings. This reorganisation is part of a broader devolution strategy to simplify local government structures, save public funds and improve local accountability. LGR will impact the County of Essex as it currently operates a two-tier Local Government structure. It is anticipated that during the life of this contract/ framework, the LGR process will commence and/or progress potentially impacting this contract. Impacts may include, but not limited to, modifications such as a transfer of the legal entity you currently contract with, significant increases and/ or decreases in the value/ volume of services required due to the change in size / scope of the Contracting Authority and/or changes to the scope of the nature of services required. Although any contract scope changes should broadly relate to the nature of the existing scope, new services of a related nature may be required that were not previously included. The scale and exact timing of the changes are unknown at this point, but it is known that LGR will impact the County of Essex. All suppliers who work with the Authority need to be aware and where possible, work with the Authority to adapt to any changes/ modifications as required to ensure smooth transition and continuity of services.

CCTV SERVICE & MAINTENANCE AND NEW CCTV CAMERA INSTALLS FOR BASSETLAW DISTRICT COUNCIL

Bassetlaw District Council wish to invite tenders to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver a comprehensive service, maintenance, and support provision for the Council's CCTV Control Room and its associated infrastructure. This contract will ensure that all surveillance equipment and systems remain operational, effective, and compliant with relevant legislation and standards. The District of Bassetlaw is situated in Nottinghamshire and borders with South Yorkshire to the north, Lincolnshire's Fens and Wolds to the east and Derbyshire with the spectacular Peak District to the west. The successful contractor will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance (including daily callouts), fault diagnostics, repairs, and system optimisation of all CCTV equipment under the Council's management. This includes, but is not limited to, fixed and PTZ cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), video management systems (VMS), workstations, monitors, control room equipment, fibre and wireless transmission networks, and all supporting infrastructure. The successful contractor must demonstrate proven expertise in maintaining public space CCTV systems, with a strong understanding of current Data Protection, Surveillance Camera Code of Practice, and BS EN 62676 standards. The contractor will work in close coordination with Council staff to minimise downtime, respond to incidents, and support the efficient operation of the surveillance network. In addition to the core maintenance activities, the contractor will be expected to provide technical advice, support for system upgrades or improvements, and reporting on system health, performance, and compliance. A high standard of customer service, reliability, and confidentiality is essential throughout the duration of the contract. Further information can be obtained in the tender documentation within this tender pack. The anticipated contract start date is 1st April 2026. The contract will be in place for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to a further two (2) years on a 1 + 1 year basis, subject to satisfactory performance and an annual review by the Council. Contract value The budget for this contract is estimated in the region of £2,250,000 excluding VAT in total.
