Description

The Council's main insurance policy including public liability, employers liability and buildings and contents cover.
The Council uses the town and parish council insurance broker to arrange its insurance contracts, and they test the market every three to five years and source the most cost effective insurance policy on behalf of the town and parish council sector. The Council has taken up the option of a three-year stability agreement in order to minimise increases in premiums.

This Invitation to Tender (ITT)) is inviting Tenders for insurances coverage and associated services as required by Central Bedfordshire Council ( the Contracting Authority) as detailed in Section 4 of the ITT (Services) where Information regarding the procurement process, the Services, and Award Criteria can be found. Procurement Route to Be Used. The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Specifically, the Contracting Authority will be using the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 - Open Procedure. Last date for receiving questions on the In-Tend system is Friday 15 November 2024. Completed Quotations and attachments should be submitted electronically by the due date via our In-tend electronic tendering system. Quotations must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Quotations submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Quotation must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than 12 noon on Friday 6 December 2024 Quotations received after that time will be excluded.
