This contract is for the delivery of a range of statutory highways term maintenance and capital works projects across the network of highways and infrastructure within the Royal Borough of Greenwich.\r

The works and services to be provided under the Contract are comprehensive and cover all the routine, reactive and planned works that need to be delivered by the Council to achieve the outcomes set out in the Contract.\r
\r
The Council is seeking an experienced contractor to deliver the works and services in a manner that will maximise the use of the latest technology, processes and management techniques to deliver high quality services that provide excellent value for money for the Council whilst supporting and enhancing the Council's values and aims.

The contract is principally for the provision of highways term maintenance and works but in addition other infrastructure works and maintenance such as that relating to passenger transport and waste. In addition the council may order related professional services; Contractor assistance in response to civil contingencies and other emergencies; and a) construction of buildings associated with or inseparable from highways, passenger transport and active travel improvement schemes - such as buildings at bus interchanges; (b) construction of household waste recycling centres, waste transfer facilities and the like; (c) drainage, coastal and flood defence work; and (d) enabling works for developments undertaken by or on behalf of the Client.

CPU 5941 Planned Footpath & Cycleway Maintenance Framework

The Council is responsible to maintain those City Council highways which are 'adopted' and that are maintainable at the public expense. This framework is to deliver works in respect of Planned Footpath & Cycleway Maintenance works across Nottingham City Council's boundaries, as Principal Contractor.
