Contract for Enterprise Service Management System

The University is looking to replace its ageing IT Service Management solution (Ivanti Service Desk - previously known as LANDesk Service Desk) with a modern comprehensive Enterprise Service Management solution, capable of supporting the delivery of service, to students, academics and each other, by all of our professional services teams. We want to ensure that all members of the University receive a consistent support experience across all areas of delivery, simplifying access to services and removing the need to know the workings of the organization, in order to get help promptly at the point of need. We want to focus on a positive user experience and exploit functionality to aid back-office efficiency e.g. workflow and automation. The University is seeking to procure a cloud-based Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solution to facilitate the management of all aspects of service to staff, students and external partners, beginning with existing users (>400) of our current system in the first instance, but extending to other parts of the university in the near future in a phased approach. All staff and students will need access to the customer facing portal. We will also need to offer guest access to external enquirers including alumni, prospective students and contacts in other organisations, such as the local council and other government or higher education authorities. GB-Edinburgh: Finance & Procurement System

NLB are looking to replace the current web-based, hosted core finance and procurement business systems with a single integrated cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) solution. NLB would invite suppliers in Crown Commercial Services Framework RM6194 to demonstrate how their system would meet the needs of the organisation with an anticipated go-live date no later than 1st April 2026. NLB would like to capitalise on experience and advice from the system supplier as to best practice, process streamlining and a reimagined chart of accounts to remove inconsistences, double keying and significant input required to control and manage the system and its needs. The system should support a 'paperless' NLB with digital workflows, approvals and document capture. The system should allow/support the flexibility of NLB to adapt and grow and allow NLB to adopt standardised policies and procedures. The platform should be maintained by the supplier to provide a risk-free solution that enables NLB to run its organisation and meet its regulatory and legal requirements. This requirement is to be procured under Crown Commercial Services Framework RM6194, and as such only named suppliers are eligible to compete in this further competition. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
