Broadbridge Heath Parish Council is seeking to appoint a qualified contractor for the design, supply, and installation of a "Whole Family Sports and Recreation Experience" aimed to develop inclusive, multi-generational space for sports, fitness & recreational activities. Equipment Removal/Retention: The contractor will assess the existing equipment and determine whether to retain/ remove based on condition and suitability within the design. Design and Environmental Considerations: The design must prioritize sustainability, with considerations for low-maintenance materials and environmentally friendly construction, integrating into, and expanding upon, the existing layout. Installation of new equipment on the village green play area

We are inviting quotations up to a maximum of £250,000 for the supply and installation of new equipment on the village green play area in Fernwood village, Newark-on-Trent. The project's aim is to replace outdated current playground and sports equipment and to increase physical activity in children and families whilst reflecting the natural environment of the village and nearby woodland. We are looking for a contractor to replace the current equipment within an enclosed space maintaining the current footprint plus replace the sports facilities nearby. Equipment within the enclosed space should be suitable for an age range of 1 to 12 years old and sports equipment should be suitable for ages 12 to 16 years old. Whilst the internal footprint of the enclosed space cannot change, there is some flexibility to extend the sports area to include additional equipment and activities. If necessary, groundworks can be completed in the area. We want the play features to be eye catching, unique, visually attractive and to reflect the natural environment of Fernwood Village. Your offer should provide good imaginative, inclusive and active play value to help us create a play area for children aged 1 to 12 years. Enhancement to Prospect Street Recreation ground

Tenders are being sought to improve the recreation space at Prospect Street, Horncastle to make it into an attractive, welcoming and safe community space for families. Consultation has taken place with the community and the survey results are shown in the attached specification document. The final design must incorporate some of the facilities identified at Question 2 of the survey. Our core objectives for this project are: • create an intergenerational space • family focussed • create a safe and inclusive space Tenderers are asked to provide: a) details of previous projects of a comparable nature showing the breadth of your portfolio b) Details of professional warrantees and any guarantees offered c) Potential start date for work d) Estimated duration of proposed work A site visit is essential although will not be accompanied as the site is always open and accessible. One day has been set aside for accompanied site visits. The date is Monday 6th January and anyone wishing to have an accompanied visit must book an appointment in advance.
