Description

The Council wishes to procure a framework for the hire of a range of non-operated small plant to support an in house delivery model of highway maintenance. The service will be a top up service to supplement the Council's own small plant in times of high workload, provide cover for breakdown and to supply infrequently used equipment.\r

All plant must meet the appropriate requirements of the Specification and the rates submitted in the Pricing Schedule must be inclusive of delivery and travel time to the local depot or to site (unless otherwise indicated in the pricing schedule) and should include for all reasonable associated equipment such as trailers, dust suppressors, etc.\r

The framework will be council wide and a maximum of 3 suppliers will be appointed. Orders will be issued based on the best value supplier for each order.\r

Tenders will only be accepted from those providers who are able to price all elements of the Pricing Schedule.\r

Customers will use the categories to shortlist appointed suppliers and invite them to further competition The three (3) categories compromise of: • Service Category • Geographical Location • Additional Capabilities Fully compliant with the Public Contracts regulations 2015
