Description

The services which are being procured as part of this Procurement are to provide
transportation of Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) materials as instructed by the
Council. Lincolnshire County Council is the statutory Waste Collection Authority in
Lincolnshire. The Council operates eleven Household Waste Recycling Centres in Lincoln,
Market Rasen, Gainsborough, Louth, Tattershall, Skegness, Boston, Spalding, Sleaford,
Grantham and Bourne.
The Contract is for the transportation of material from the HWRCs to disposal point sites.
The Supplier shall tip the material at the disposal site, then transport the empty container to
the HWRC or a separate Drop-Off Point.
This Contract will be Lotted as follows;
Lot 1 – Great Northern Terrace, Lincoln, Market Rasen and Gainsborough;
Lot 2 – Louth , Tattershall and Skegness;
Lot 3 – Boston and Spalding;
Lot 4 – Sleaford, Grantham and Bourne.
Each lot shall be awarded to one Supplier. Bidders can bid for one, all or any number of lots,
however awards will be capped at a maximum of two lots per bidder.
The Contract shall commence on 1st April 2024 for a period of 60 months, with two options to extend of 12 months each..

Waste and resource management technical advisors’ framework

WRAP is preparing to launch a tender exercise for a framework to provide high quality technical advisor services to enable WRAP to provide valuable policy, support and evidence in the area of Waste and Resource Management, that can be applied to one or more of our core sector programme areas and one or more of our key stakeholder audiences.
