Description

Following a tender exercise the London Borough of Hackney has awarded a contract to Barnardo's to deliver a Solihull Parenting Approach Service that will, map, coordinate and expand on the number of universal Solihull Approach parenting group interventions in various locations across Hackney, deliver Solihull Approach professional courses, and increase the take-up of free on-line Solihull Approach courses (Online Courses | Hackney) by parents/carers and professionals.

The aim of the Service is to work with families with children aged 2 years and under, and with professionals to improve the quality of parent-infant relationships in Hackney so that babies and toddlers can feel safe and secure, and ensure they have the key competencies that will help them to thrive.

The contract is for 18 months with an provision to extend for a further 6 months at the Council's discretion. The contract value is for a sum if £280,902.83 for the 13 month contract duration, and £398,315.00 in total if the extension option for £117,417.11  is utilised.

Learning Together Programme: Good Relations/Cultural Diversity. Facilitates participants to explore each other cultures through workshops, relevant visits and 1 day trip. Cultivates mutual understanding, challenging perceptions/prejudice, forms friendships, trust and opens respectful and informed dialogue. 3. Learning Together Programme: Health and Wellbeing. Facilitates participants to explore each other’s cultures through workshops, relevant visits and 1 day trip. Cultivates mutual understanding, awareness of relevant health and wellbeing issues and skills, forms friendships, trust and opens respectful and informed dialogue. Arising from the Co-design process in a Ballyarnett District Electoral Area (DEA), this project should strive to bring key benefit to that area. T24-201BUS PEACEPLUS Arts and Collaborative Resilience Reissue

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for PeacePlus Arts and Collaborative Resilience. Derry City and Strabane District Council are seeking an organisation to co-ordinate and deliver this project which is a strategic level arts project within Derry City and Strabane District Council’s (DCSDC’s) PEACEPLUS Action Plan. The project aims to increase collaborative and strategic working within the core community arts and culture sector. It links strongly to the DCSDC Arts and Cultural Strategy (Sectoral Investment Plan 2021) and will require regular engagement with the Arts and Culture Manager, John Kerr to ensure a co-ordinated approach with council’s services in this area and to maximise the benefit and legacy of the project. Working with the DCSDC Arts Service, the successful tenderer will bring together a target of 26+ Arts and Cultural Sector organisations from within the council area. It will develop 2 areas of cross-community collaboration to leverage economies of scale for the participating organisations, enhancing collective sustainability. Arising from the Co-design process across the entire district, this project should strive to bring key benefit across the geography of the council area. Cross-border engagement into Donegal is also welcome where relevant, as many of the audiences for arts and cultural activity area cross-border.
