Description

Newport City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and established liquid waste processor with experience of bulk tanker haulage and processing of landfill leachate to undertake the service from Newport City Council Docksway Waste Disposal Site.
The Leachate is to be collected from Newport City Council, Docksway site, and the contractor will be responsible for the safe and compliant loading of the liquid waste into their licensed vehicle.

Sludge Disposal and/or Restoration, Sludge Treatment and Sludge Storage

United Utilities ae seeking alternate ways to dispose of and/or treat its raw sludge for circa 100,000 tonnes per annum. The requirement of this DPS will be in 3 lots: Lot 1: Sludge Disposal and/ or Restoration In this lot the Company's is sourcing supplier's who can dispose of a set volume of its raw sludge per annum. Lot 2: Sludge Treatment In this lot the Company's is sourcing supplier's who could treat a set volume of its raw sludge per annum in line with the Biosolids Assurance Scheme (BAS). Sludge would be stored over a number months before being transferred to its final destination by the Company. Applicants are required to submit their response to the DPS Questionnaire by 12PM 01/07/2024 to be assessed prior to the first round of mini-competitions/ awards estimated to be run in July 2024

Waste Management Dynamic Purchasing System

NHS London Procurement Partnership is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide a compliant procurement route for Waste Management Services to the NHS and other public sector organisations. This will encompass Collection, transport, treatment, recycling, processing and disposal as appropriate, of healthcare and general waste including domestic, recyclable, clinical, hazardous, offensive, pharmaceutical, toxic, radioactive and biological waste streams. The DPS will be split into lots to include specific waste streams, integrated waste management and bespoke treatment options. See documentation for full details, NHS LPP may add further specialist lots later in the lifetime of the DPS. This will be determined by the needs of our membership and the development of the market. It is not possible at this stage to precisely define all possibilities however. The DPS will cover all regions in England and the wider UK - see documentation for details.
