Description

Leeds Trinity University seeks to appoint a contractor for the supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of a modern Cashless Laundry Appliance Service required for 700 resident students, plus ad-hoc conference delegates at its Horsforth campus.  The appliances will remain the property of the contractor.

This contract will include 
•	the supply and installation of 10x washing machines and 10x tumbledryers within the university's existing launderette.
•	the supply and installation of 8 x washing machines (1 per kitchen) within Kirkstall Hall (hall of residence).
•	the facilitation of cashless payment
•	optimisation of service via on-line technology / use of a dedicated App including but not limited to
o	user / operation instructions
o	optimising laundering performance
o	understanding clothing care labels
o	reducing cost of living burden
•	promotion of facilities, service, at arrivals/freshers and other student engagement events
•	branding design (instructions, contact details etc.)
•	provision of management information
•	(at contract expiry),the disposal, donation, or resale of outgoing equipment
•	Contractor to ensure that at all times the appliances will be kept in a good state of repair, by way of but not limited to:
o	the planned maintenance of all appliances
o	the emergency repair of all appliances 


Contract Duration: 
1.	The contract will be effective immediately upon award.
2.	Work on site will commence by agreement with the university.
3.	All devices and any associated software will be installed and usable as intended by 31st August 2024
4.	The contract year will be 1st September to 31st August, and the contract duration will be five years, (always subject to satisfactory contract performance and on-going demand)
5.	The university reserves the right to extend the contract for any period up to a maximum of two additional years.

Basis of Price:
1.	The tendered Contract Price is to be a fixed contract sum inclusive of all costs, delivered to the address(es) specified in the tender documents.
2.	There will be no associated hire-purchase or leasing arrangement.

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the supply of Facilities Management Equipment, Fencing, Floor Cleaning Machines, White Goods and Commercial Laundry Equipment.
