Description

We are looking to appoint a supplier to provide External Audit Services in accordance with the Companies Act and relevant professional standards. We are seeking to put in place a new contract for four years, commencing in May 2024.  As a higher education institution, we are required to carry out external audit of our financial statements for statutory compliance purposes. In addition to this we are also required to provide audited annual financial statements to our regulator, the Office for Students.  The scope of service includes audit of the school’s financial statements and the subsidiary company financial statements, together known as ‘the Group’.

Due to the ongoing growth and development of the Open Banking market, Crown Commercial Service (CCS), as the Authority, intends to put in place an agreement for Open Banking Services for use by Central Government and the Wider Public Sector. Insurance and Related Services 2025 for Angus Housing Association

The Contract is for the provision of general insurance and related services, including claims handling, loss control services and general programme maintenance and advice as required by Angus Housing Association commencing 30th September 2025. A full Summary of Current Cover will be provided with the Invitation to Tender to selected bidders. Bids are invited from suitably qualified insurance brokers and direct providers for the entire scope of services. External Audit Services 2025

The purpose of this tender is to appoint a single provider to deliver External Audit Services . The primary role of the external auditors will be to report on the financial statements of Bournemouth University and to carry out whatever examination of the statements and underlying records and control systems is necessary to reach an opinion on the statements. The scope of works also includes but is not limited to audits of the University’s subsidiary bodies, annual returns for the US Federal loans and any other funding requirements, as well as individual project audits as required. There will be a requirement to report on whether recurrent and specific grants from OfS (and other bodies and restricted funds where appropriate) have been properly applied for the purposes provided, in accordance with the Bournemouth University’s Memorandum of Assurance and Accountability with OfS and that conditions of grant have been met.
