Description

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority has put in place a Pan Government Collaborative Agreement for the provision of Furniture and associated services to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all in scope requirements of the UK Central Government. The initial position, subject to engagement, is for a Lot structure that covers (but not limited to): office furniture, residential furniture, education furniture, steel storage, repair / renovation / reuse / recycle. 
Lot Structure is as follows:
Lot 1 - Office Furniture (Standard & Government Corporate)
Lot 2 - MOD Office
Lot 3 - Residential Furniture
Lot 4 - High Density Steel Storage
Lot 5 - Sustainability

Furniture, White Goods & Storage contract - Market Engagement Event 15:00 - 16:00 Friday 29th November 2024 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) is delighted to host a virtual market engagement event (via Microsoft Teams) to support the Service Housing Access Department within the Council. The Council is looking to appoint suppliers to provide good quality household furniture items and white goods along with services that provide household removal and storage solutions. The aim of the event is to provide a more structured and proactive approach to market engagement across the City of Bradford and surrounding areas. This forum will be used to provide guidance on how to tender and become a supplier to the Council over the next 3 years, share key focus areas and challenges that will be of use to suppliers in supporting the Council to meet these needs. There will be an opportunity for review of outline specification, Q&A and support provided to those suppliers who wish to engage with the Council and become part of the delivery frameworks. HS2 Curzon Street Station - Waste Management Services

Mace Dragados are seeking expressions of interest from the supply chain to provide a waste collection service from this project comprising the provision of skips, wheelie bins, rollon/offs, compactors/balers, wheelie bins etc as necessary to collect potentially segregated waste streams from general construction waste, paper/cardboard, hazardous, plasterboard, plastics, etc. Note we already have an appointed logistics contractor so are NOT looking for the provision of an onsite labour gang and plant to manage waste. The emphasis will be on providing an efficient, professional, cost effective waste service with high recycling rates As an HS2 site all personnel must be paid at least Living Wage and generally be directly employed. A full audit of the appointed supplier will be carried out by ourselves prior to appointment and at regular intervals. It is anticipated we would place a supply only order for this project (probably NEC terms). Payment terms are 26 days. The project commenced earlier this year and will run to 2029. It is likely that early subcontractors (Piling, Substructure, Superstructure etc) will be responsible for their own waste and initial requirements may be site office waste and waste from other subcontractors. We intend to place an order directly with a waste company (i.e. not via a third party intermediary).
