Description

Rushmoor Borough Council - the 'council' - is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for a three (3) year + two (2) year contract for the provision of electrical servicing for a range of council buildings (29 in total), including the civic offices, crematorium, sports pavilions, community centres and offices.\r
\r
The Council recognises and accepts its responsibility as a building owner and the duty of care placed on it by legislation and takes all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that the buildings under its direct control are managed and operated safely.  \r
\r
This contractor is to assist the Council in complying with its duties under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 to include: \r
•	Electrical Installation Condition Report servicing to be carried out every five years\r
•	Portable Appliance Testing to be carried out every two years\r
•	Reactive Works\r

The Contract is anticipated to commence on Monday 23rd October 2023 for Rushmoor Borough Council.\r

The value of the contract requirement equates to approximately £75,000. \r
\r
The council is undertaking the procurement process in general accordance with the open procedure. It should be noted that the contract value falls below the statutory threshold for services set out within Public Contracts Regulations (2015) and as such only the aspects of the regulations concerned with below threshold contracts shall apply. The council will undertake a procurement process to award the contract in line with the summary programme set out below:\r

The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Windlesham Parish Council is seeking contractors to provide Christmas trees and lighting for three distinct locations: Bagshot, Lightwater, and Windlesham. To accommodate local preferences and logistical considerations, this tender is documented by village. Contractors should be aware that the Council reserves the right not to award the contract or to award the contract for either 1, 2, or 3 years. We kindly ask that all tender submissions be provided in hard copy, addressed to the Clerk at the Windlesham Parish Council office. Please ensure submissions are sealed and clearly marked as the invitation to tender.
