Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Cyber Penetration Testing - Government departments are required to use NCSC CHECK approved companies to conduct authorised ITHC of public sector systems and networks.  A contract has been awarded to two suppliers, to operate in a taxi-rank system to provide cyber penetration testing services for DBT. This will allow DBT to understand where the organisation needs to focus their resources to maximise their cybersecurity posture, to gain assurance in the organisation's vulnerability assessment and management process and enables the appropriate management of risk.

Data Services Sports Content (All Olympic and Paralympic Sports and Disciplines)

The services are for the delivery of historical and 'live' sports result data across all Olympic and Paralympic sports (including individual disciplines within such sports). This covers all relevant international competitions from junior to senior level from: continental championships, world cups and championships, Commonwealth games, Olympic and Paralympic Games. Competitions that lead to Olympic and Paralympic qualification are also to be included. The service requirement specifically focuses on a data feed, the actual collection, cleansing, matching and structuring of data across all Olympic and Paralympic sport, for both current competitions as well as historical ones. UK Sport's requirement is for the supply of result data (namely all Olympic and Paralympic sports and disciplines) on an agreed complex data table structure (the Services). UK Sport are not seeking to build a platform to host data, deliver data analytics or visualisation services, or to web-scrape data.

Open Banking (Request for Information)

The train companies operated by DOHL - The DFT holding company for government controlled Train Operating Companies (TOCS), are committed to delivering the best experience for their customers, including providing a wide range of payment options when purchasing tickets. The DOHL TOCs intend to add open banking - pay by bank as a payment type for web and app channels, enabling customers to pay for tickets and other services using an instant authorised bank transfer through their banking app. Different TOCs use a range of web and products, some bespoke, and other, white labelled SaaS platforms offered by third party vendors. TOCs currently offer a range of online payment options, including Credit and Debit Card, PayPal, incorporating Pay in Three, Apple and Google Pay. Open Banking will sit alongside these options, using a dedicated Call to Action button. Please note that purchasing rail tickets is not as straightforward as some other purchase models, and it will be necessary to store a reservation ID alongside the more usual fields. A high level process map for a typical Ticket Issuing System is included in this PIN for reference. Integration is envisaged to be through existing payment service APIs and integration offered by the Ticket Issuing System. Refunds are a common occurrence, due to customers changing their plans, delays and cancellations. An automated process is used to make refunds, and where a customer has paid through open banking, this must be available as an automated refund channel. In some cases, a refund team may make manual refunds, and this should also be an option through the open banking provision.

Desk Side Support Services and Infrastructure as a Service

South Downs National Park Authority’s (SDNPA’s) current Managed Service contracts for IAAS and deskside support contracts end on 30 June 2025. SDNPA is now commencing a restricted (two stage) procurement process under Public Contract Regulations 2015 for single new contract covering both IAAS and deskside support. SDNPA expects to invite between 5-8 service providers to the tender stage.
