Introduction - This is a Further Competition with information, instructions and guidance provided in this document, following consideration of which the tender submission which consists of the completion of the Technical and Commercial response documents should be completed and returned by all Contractors invited to tender for the contract. Please note, throughout the Tender documentation the University of Nottingham will be referred to as 'the University' or the Employer and the Tenderer can be referred to as the 'Supplier' or the 'Contractor'. 
      
      Objectives - This project comprises the replacement of gas fired boilers to the Business School North at the Jubilee Campus. 
      
      Contract Duration - Works planned to commence on site from 22nd May 2023. Estimated completion date: 18th August 2023. 
      
      Conditions of Contract - The contract will operate under the JCT Minor Works Building Contract, with Contractor Design, Joint Contracts Tribunal Limited 2016 suite of contracts published by Thomas Reuters (Professional) UK Limited, trading as Sweet & Maxwell.

Contract 13 Internal Painting & Decorating including Minor Repairs

North Tyneside Council is seeking tenders to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of both planned and responsive internal painting works in both its housing stock and its non-residential buildings. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Authority intends to have two lots, covering housing and non-housing works. Tenderers can bid for one or both lots. Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework in each lot. The framework will consist of an initial term of two years, with two further options to extend by up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority. Works are expected to commence in April 2025. The project is for the provision of 33 new dwelling units and all associated external works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, landscaping, roads / footpaths / parking, gardens, fencing, rails and other ancillary works. A significant amount of the works is Contractor design. The proposed housing developments are located across 3 brownfield sites within Portrush, Glenmanus Road, Parker Avenue and 22 Glenmanus Village. The Glenmanus Road site is 0.96 hectares in area and located on lands between 20 and 22A Glenmanus Road, within walking distance of the town centre. The Parker Avenue site is a vacant plot in a residential neighbourhood, located between 35 Hopefield Avenue and 7 Parker Avenue, Portrush. The 22 Glenmanus Village site is 0.13 HA in area consisting of an existing dwelling and outbuildings (to be demolished) located at the end of a residential cul-de-sac at 22 Glenmanus Village, Portrush.
