Description

Corsham Town Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to carry out grounds maintenance services (principally mowing and strimming) at 32 sites throughout the parish. Whilst the majority of the work involves the regular mulch-mowing of amenity areas, the Town Council plans to manage a substantial portion of its open spaces (often at the periphery of sites) as wildlife/wildflower areas and is keen to work with a contractor who is able to carry out two cuts annually (early spring and a late hay cut) and collect arisings.

The details of the work are contained in the attached contract as well as details of how to submit a tender (section 7, page 5).

Prospective tenderers are expected to provide the following:
A completed Bill of Quantities form (page 34 on the attached contract).
A completed Form of Tender (page 35).
A completed Certificate that the tender is bona fide (page 36).
A completed Analysis of Resources form (page 37).
A copy of the company's environmental policy.
Details of vehicles and machinery to be used.
2 references from customers.
A copy of the company's health & safety policy.
A copy of the company's certificate of insurance for at least £10 million.
A copy of the company's quality assurance policy.
A copy of the company's equal opportunity policy.

Tenders are to be sent by post or delivered by hand in an envelope clearly labelled "Tender - Grounds Maintenance Contract", addressed to:
David Martin - Chief Executive
Corsham Town Hall
High Street
Corsham
Wiltshire, SN13 0EZ

Alternatively, tenders can be sent via email to [email protected] and [email protected] with "Tender - Grounds Maintenance Contract" in the title bar.
