Description

The contract for the supply of wheeled bins is for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The council has estimated demand for bins within this tender but demand may vary during the contract period. The council intends to start charging for recycling bins in late 2024 or early 2025

Additional information: 
The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk. Applicants will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents, including standard selection questionnaire, via the on-line portal by 11am on 21st February 2024

Hull City Council (The Authority) is seeking tenders from organisations to supply of Refurbished and Second-hand Steel Four Wheeled Bins. The tender is an open tender of a one stage process. The contract is anticipated to commence 1st December 2024 ending by 30th November 2026, with an option to extend for a period or periods of up to a maximum of 24 months. The Authority has estimated the value of the services to be approximately £130,000 per annum. The estimated value is given in good faith to assist tenderers in making their submissions, it should not be interpreted as an undertaking to purchase any goods, services or works to any particular value by the Authority and does not form part of the Contract.
