Description

Cambridgeshire County Council is setting up a pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for Post-16 Alternative Provisions for Education and Training. Providers accepted onto the PDPS will provide education and training to meet the needs of young people with education health and care plans (EHCP's) between the ages of 16 and 25.

It is intended that both Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and Peterborough City Council (PCC) will call-off this PDPS.

The deadline to submit a bid for the first round of the PDPS is 12:00 on 8th September 2023. After that date, potential providers will be able to bid in subsequent rounds.

The initial end date of the PDPS is 31st March 2026, with optional extensions up to 31st March 2029.

Allied Health Professions Enhanced Practice pilot delivery model

For 2024/25 NHSE WT&E intends to facilitate successful ECP apprenticeship programme delivery by pump priming AHP profession specific courses with £10k pp funding to support the development of apprentice funded training into the future, where funding can be used to support the development of innovative and sustainable delivery of these new programmes across England in their first year, to support:<br/><br/>Educator capacity<br/>Educational requirements in practice<br/>Supervisory arrangements<br/><br/>This funding will be offered to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to support the above development and will be additional and independent to the apprenticeship levy.
