Description

Direct Rail Services (DRS) have a recurring requirement for the provision and annual maintenance 
of portable fire extinguishers and suppression systems for their locomotives. 

DRS via this contract will enter in a 4-year contract with one Supplier that can provide the full service provision for all their requirements. The sites where the maintenance of portable fire 
extinguishers and pick up and delivery of the fire systems will be mainly in Crewe and Carlisle 
depots and Motherwell as required. 

The required portable fire extinguishers include Eco Foam and Foam 6L cylinders, 10L, 20L Nitrogen gas cylinders, and 30L CO2 fire bottles suppression systems.

This Planned Procurement Notice is to inform the market that an Invitation to Tender ("ITT") will be issued by The Police & Crime Commissioner for Humberside Police (the "PCC") in connection with a competitive procurement for the provision of Measured Term Maintenance (MTM) Testing and Repairs.
