Description

The key operational objectives of the contract will be: •	To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation, ACOPs, guidance and technical documents, such as SFG20, CIBSE and other best practice guidance and manufacturers requirements and all UCA’s policies and procedures through effective service controls and audit processes  •	To provide a high performing, cost effective building maintenance function that enables and supports UCA's activities through the delivery of fully-functioning, comfortable, high quality, safe environments.  •	To provide a service which supports and sustains a safe working environment, with no risk to UCA's equipment, business and service delivery operations, business continuity, brand, or reputation. •	To develop and implement policies and procedures for operating the services in an efficient and cost-effective manner, maximising productivity, integration, and consistency across all aspects of service delivery.

Urgent Repair and Jobbing Contracts 2025-2029

The contracts are for urgent repairs and jobbing works to Angus Council properties (excluding council housing). The contracts cover a range of trades with individual orders for works which are of an urgent repair, minor alteration or maintenance in nature being placed with the appropriate appointed contractors. The contracts will run from the 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2029. Contractors will be appointed on a trade and area basis and where possible standby contractor(s) will be put in place. The maximum value of any one order is restricted to GBP 50 000.
