Description

The Department of Finance (DoF) (Contracting Authority) on behalf of a number of Contracting Authorities has a requirement to contract for the Supply and Delivery of Vehicle Spare Parts to various locations across Northern Ireland. It is intended that, via these arrangements, Clients will be able to source all Vehicle Spare Parts necessary to enable the effective repair and maintenance of the fleet of vehicles. The overall objective is to deliver value for money and cash releasing savings for each organisation. Tenderers should refer to the Specification of Requirements for details relating to these contracts including details of the Lots structure. The Contracts will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the potential to extend up to a total potential duration of 2 years.

The Scottish Ministers have been working with internal and external stakeholders on the development of a Scottish collaborative Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Civil Engineering projects up to 5 million GBP for use across the Scottish public sector. To be considered, economic operators are required to complete the Single Procurement Document (SPD) including the Financial Standing Workbook, the Technical and Professional Ability Workbook (including Core Terms Acceptance and SOC Check) and the Environmental Management and Climate Change Plan Form in accordance with the Contract Notice and the accompanying Instructions document. Economic operators will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations (Scotland) 2015, on the basis of the information provided within their application. A Price Quality Ratio (PQR) of 30% Price and 70% Quality (with a range of +/-20%) will be undertaken for all calls for competition under this DPS.

NCC202402157 - Newport City Council – Fleet Maintenance Contract

The current contract for Fleet Maintenance is due to expire on the 31st of March 2025 and therefore NCC are required to tender for a new contract. This is a statutory requirement, and the successful contractor will need to be approved by the UK Traffic Commissioner as one of the terms and conditions of NCC’s Goods Vehicle Operators Licence, without which NCC would be unable to operate any large goods vehicles. This tender is for the full maintenance of Newport owned fleet including the EV fleet. A full and detailed specification can be found within the attachments section.
