Description

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is setting up a Framework for the provision of Care & Support in Independent Living settings (often known as Extra Care or Assistive Living schemes) for adults aged 55 and over, who are ordinarily resident within the administrative area of North Northamptonshire  and have been assessed as meeting the eligibility criteria.

Although, Independent Living settings are predominantly the living choice of older people, such accommodation benefits a range of care and support needs inclusive of other ageing adults, including those with mental health needs, learning disabilities, physical and sensory disabilities. Provision may include, where required palliative and end of life care and support as well as supporting those living with dementia.

This type of housing is intended to support independence, enabling Individuals to do things themselves rather than things been done on behalf of them. In delivering the Service every opportunity should be taken to optimise Individuals' capacity to carry out tasks themselves, fostering an ethos of autonomy.

Potential Providers wishing to providing services to the Care & Support in Independent Living schemes must apply to the Intend Reference 00000516 at the same time to the North Northamptonshire Council provision of Independent Living with Care and Support Services Framework.

- Lot 2 - Sunley Court

- Lot 3 - Imperial Court 

Potential providers who apply to the above lots and do NOT apply to the North Northamptonshire Council provision of Independent Living with Care and Support Services Framework will not be considered for this Call Off and excluded from the process.

North Northamptonshire Council in partnership with Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) wishes to invite Tender Responses for the Provision of Supported Living Services for Working Age Adults and who are ordinarily resident within North Northamptonshire. The Services covered by this contract are for Individuals who have a Learning Disability, Mental Health Needs and/or who are Autistic, and who have been assessed as having eligible needs under the Care Act. The Council act as the lead commissioner for these services, in partnership with Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). The following Lots detail the Services to be initially procured: • Lot 1- Individuals with Learning Disability 1 (a) - Standard 1 (b) - Enhanced • Lot 2- Individuals with Mental Health Needs 2 (a) - Standard 2 (b) - Enhanced • Lot 3- Individuals who are Autistic 3 (a) - Standard 3 (b) - Enhanced The Council is setting up the Framework Agreement for an initial period of 48 months, with the option to extend for two additional periods of 12 months each, for a maximum duration of 72 months (4+1+1 years).
